Service Provided The Air Cadets is an International Organisation for young people between the ages of 13 and 20. It is not specifically for those young people who wish to have a career in the Armed Services but is aimed at fostering a sense of adventure and developing good citizens. Activities undertaken by Air Cadets include Flying, Gliding, Shooting, Adventure Training, Sports, UK and overseas Camps, First Aid, the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and Millennium Volunteers Scheme. In addition Air Cadets can achieve formally recognised qualifications in Public Service and First Line Management as part of their training.

Area There are 4 Air Cadet Squadrons in Carmarthenshire based in Carmarthen, Llanelli, Pont Henri and Whitland.
